TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ADOLFO MENDONÇA ATELIER WEBSITE

Access to and use of ADOLFOMENDONCAATELIER.COM website are subject to the Terms and Conditions presented at this page. When browsing the website, the user accepts and acts according to the following points. 

Adolfo Mendonça Atelier reserves the right to present, edit, modify, amend or delete any content, information or data presented on the ADOLFOMENDONCAATELIER.COM website.

All pieces are made of faience, created in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean — Terceira Island, Azores, Portugal — and are identified by the Adolfo Mendonça Atelier® brand mark.

Each detail is created one by one and assembled, forming different compositions. It should be noted that manual work is delicate and there may be differences between pieces of the same model, such as color and shape variations and/or small irregularities. This condition has always been valued by Adolfo Mendonça Atelier, which since the beginning has the principle of creating unique pieces.

Adolfo Mendonça Atelier tries it’s best to share photographs that show the true shape, texture, color and finish of each piece.

Descriptions are also designed to inform the visitor or potential customer more throughly about the features of each piece.

Colors and color combinations may differ depending on the existing stock.

At the moment, the studio works by order, some pieces may be in stock and others may not. This factor influences the delivery time:

  • In stock: estimate delivery within 7 to 15 days for Portugal and 15 to 30 days for Europe;

  • Out of stock: depending on the chosen piece and destination, delivery within 1 to 2 months.

Shipments are made to Azores, Madeira, Mainland Portugal and Europe.The shipping costs varies according to the weight of the package and delivery destination.

Shipping starts upon reception of proof of payment which can be done by Bank Transfer or MB Way. Proof of payment must be sent by the customer within 48 hours after requested order. Otherwise, it will be automatically canceled.

When the order is shipped, the customer is informed via email. All orders are sent by registered mail via CTT.

If your order has been shipped, there is no way to cancel it.

The customer has 14 days to make an exchange or a return, as long as the products are presented in their original condition. If you wish to do so, you must first contact via the following email: info@adolfomendoncaatelier.com

If the customer receives a damaged or broken piece, he has 2 days to report the situation after the delivery act. How to do it:

  • Send me a photo that shows the condition of the packaging and the reported piece for the following email: info@adolfomendoncaatelier.com

  • Until you get an answer, please keep the piece and its packaging.

Adolfo Mendonça Atelier reserves the right to decline an order, informing the customer, if there is any suspicion of client’s misconduct or finds any inconsistency in the personal data submitted.

Adolfo Mendonça Atelier reserves the right to make changes to the Terms and Conditions from time to time without previous notice.
